This blog could easily have been called StagNation, and could have featured an ironically patriotic logo or something. This post, even. It could have been about how “Miansai” is an anagram of “A Simian.” But it’s not called StagNation, thankfully, and this isn’t about that.

Instead, it’s about how Michael Andrew Saiger, the designer behind Miansai, grasps what so few do, which is that elegant accessories are as much about the details included as they are about those details which have been omitted.

These accessories — we’ve got bracelets, keychains, and one amazing cuff — are never overwrought. They’re just right. And they say, in as few words as possible, as much about the designer as they do about the man who wears them.
