An ongoing compendium of the things on the internet we’ve been paying attention to lately.

+ If you want to see a perfect illustration of the fleeting and magical nature of life in the world, look no further than the above video from Explosions in the Sky, directed by Peter Simonite. Everything’s epic in Texas.

+ The guys behind F Yeah Menswear got unmasked this week. Interesting, but kind of a bummer. We were waiting for the book to come out.

+  We’re a little late on this, but it turns out GQ turned its spotlight onto Hav-A-Hank bandannas. Which is weird, because so did we.

+ Also, we were reading this record review last week that pointed us in the direction of an article in Vanity Fair from last year that had us thinking, “Oh, no. Are we fans of Ke$ha now?” After mulling it over, we’ve settled on a tentative “well, yes and no.”

First Levon, now Adam Yauch – and cancer got ‘em both. It’s a shitty, shitty disease. RIP MCA.

Barque is one of our favorite new entrants into the world of menswear. Creative director Gilbert Chen studied architecture at UT Austin before getting his BFA from Parsons in New York (not to mention his MBA in France), and all of his hard work has paid off with a beautiful collection of what Chen calls “modern interpretations of the classics.” We’re proud to sell Barque at STAG, and are happy to now have his goods available on our new web store.
